Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve that is improved in uniformity in a circumferential direction of a swirl flow.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes: a swirl chamber 22 which has an inner peripheral wall formed to gradually increase in curvature from a downstream side to an upstream side; a swirling passage 21 which introduces a fuel into the swirl chamber 22; and a fuel injection hole 23 which is open in the swirl chamber 22, the swirl chamber 22 and the swirling passage 23 being formed so that a side wall 21e of the swirling passage 21 connected to the downstream end side of the swirl chamber 22 or its extension does not intersect the downstream side part of the inner peripheral wall of the swirl chamber 22 or its extension.
