Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device capable of quickly gear changing and improving fuel consumption.SOLUTION: In a control device applied for a hybrid vehicle 1 having a dual clutch type transmission 10, a first MG3 power-transmittably connected to a first input shaft 13 of the transmission 10 and a second MG4 power-transmittably connected to a second input shaft 14 of the transmission 10, when the vehicle 1 travels with an internal combustion engine 2, if it is estimated that a drive power not greater than or equal to a threshold is required for the vehicle 1, the transmission 10 is controlled so that power transmission between an input shaft for which power transmission to the internal combustion engine 2 is blocked and an output system 12 is blocked, but on the other hand if it is estimated that a drive power greater than the threshold is required for the vehicle 1, power transmission between the input shaft for which power transmission to the internal combustion engine 2 is blocked and the output system 12 is established with a gear train shifted to a lower gear position than a current gear position.
