M is selected from the group consisting of ruthenium, osmium, iron, rhenium, and technetium. L is a ligand represented by the following general formula (2), wherein at least one of R1-R3 is a bonding group, at least one of R1-R3 is a thiophene-containing group, and the other of R1-R3 may be a bonding group, a thiophene-containing group, or hydrogen. X is a ligand selected from the group consisting of NCS, Cl, Br, I, CN, NCO, and HO. |
