Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a motorcycle that in turning with a gradient, it is difficult to irradiate to the front at the turing side with enough brightness.SOLUTION: A headlight device 100 includes a light source 101, a lens 108 and a driving unit 106. The light source 101 emits a light ray for illuminating the front. The lens 108 has lens surface parts 109, 110 on which the light ray is incident to form an irradiation area. The driving unit 106 drives the lens 108 in rotation. The lens surface part 110 is disposed on both of the upper side and the lower side of the lens surface part 109 in the vertical direction. In a light flux of light rays, the optical axis coincides with the optical axis of the lens 108, and the length in the horizontal direction is larger than the length in the vertical direction to the road surface. When a vehicle travels straight, the light flux transmits through the inside of the range of the lens surface part 109. When the vehicle turns, the driving unit 106 drives the lens 108 in rotation to the light flux so that the end of the light flux in the horizontal direction transmits through parts located symmetrical about the optical axis of the lens 108 in the lens surface part 110.
