Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a silicon sludge capable of manufacturing, by using a sludge of silicon particulates discarded in the prior art as a raw ingredient, a regenerated silicon bulk usable industrially and inexpensively as polycrystalline silicon for solar cells.SOLUTION: On an occasion for regenerating, as polycrystalline silicon for solar cells, a sludge of silicon particulates generated from semiconductor wafer and solar cell plants, the sludge is washed with a washing water supply including specified dosages of HF and a dispersant, dissolved within an inert gas atmosphere or a reduced pressure/vacuum atmosphere, and then coagulated so as to remove impurities therefrom. |
