Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving garbage collection system capable of improving efficiency of garbage reloading work with a low initial investment cost.SOLUTION: A garbage collection system 1 includes a plurality of stages of dust chutes 2 vertically penetrating architectural structures with a plurality of layers, which have openings 5 into which an article to be conveyed is put in at least one of the layers, and have openings in the lower part for discharging the article to be conveyed, and a conveying device 4 disposed between the opening in the lower part of one of the dust chutes 2 and the opening in the lower part of another dust chute 2, which pools the article to be conveyed, and, by giving a rotating force, conveys the article to be conveyed between a plurality of the dust chutes, or between one of the dust chutes and a garbage discharge port 3.
