Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that maintains an adhesive property of a photosensitive layer extremely well irrespective of a range of extension and contraction, and achieves both good electric characteristics and image characteristics; a process cartridge using the electrophotographic photoreceptor; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer on a conductive support. The photosensitive layer contains a polyarylate resin, and the undercoat layer contains a polyamide resin and a metal oxide; and the polyamide resin contains at least a piperazine-based compound.
