Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece levitation transport device for transporting a workpiece alone by generating a levitation force and a conveyance force by the same mechanism.SOLUTION: When a workpiece levitation transport device 100 transports a workpiece W to the downstream side in the transportation direction, a control unit 120 switches the supersonic vibration surface 111 of the workpiece W on the downstream side in the transportation direction from off to on until facing a tip WEa of the workpiece W, on the basis of the position of an end WE of the workpiece W detected by end detection means 130, and switches the supersonic vibration surface 111 of the workpiece W on the upstream side in the transportation direction from on to off at the timing before facing a rear end WEb of the workpiece W.
