Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a life of a rotary electric machine in an operational state taking into consideration working environment and conditions.SOLUTION: A deterioration diagnostic device includes: a temperature sensor which detects a coil temperature of a rotary electric machine mounted on a vehicle; storage means for storing an estimated life at a prescribed pre-measured temperature of the rotary electric machine; and computation means for acquiring coil temperature data accompanying use of the rotary electric machine which is detected by a temperature sensor, integrating use time corresponding to the prescribed temperature of the estimated life on the basis of the Arrhenius law and determining a deteriorated state in the estimated life.
