Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion preventing structure for a heat insulating tank which comprises: upper and lower heat insulating materials installed by being raised to a fixed height and a connection outer facing plate which connects the outer facing plates for covering the heat insulating materials and can securely prevent corrosion of surroundings of a tank side plate.SOLUTION: A corrosion preventing structure 1 for a heat insulating tank comprises: a lower insulating material 7 which is installed by being raised to a fixed height inside a reinforcing member 6; and a lower insulating material 8 which is installed by being raised to a fixed height on an upper surface of ceiling of the reinforcing member 6 and is constituted of: a lower outer facing plate 11 for covering an outer periphery of the lower insulating material 7 and a bottom part continuing to the outer periphery; an upper outer facing plate 12 for covering an outer periphery of the upper insulating material 8; and a connection outer facing plate 13 for connecting the lower outer facing plate 11 and a bottom plate 4.
