Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter having high shieldability even in the case of having a very thin light-shielding layer of a color other than black, and to provide a printed matter having a light-shielding layer formed up to the end of a base material, and not having dirt on the side face of the transparent base material.SOLUTION: In a printed matter, arithmetic average roughness Ra of the outer surface of a light-shielding layer formed by inkjet printing on one surface of a transparent base material is 0.15 or higher, and the light-shielding layer includes a pigment. A printing method has the first ink imparting step for imparting an ink drop onto one surface of the transparent base material by inkjet printing using an ink comprising a photocurable resin, the second ink imparting step for imparting the ink on top of the ink imparted in the first ink imparting step or on a changed position, and the second curing step.
