Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation type magnetic shield device for extremely effectively achieving a magnetic shield while having high accessibility to a magnetic shield space.SOLUTION: A separation type magnetic shield device 1 has a first magnetic shield body 2A having a rotational symmetry axis, and a second magnetic shield body 2B having a rotational symmetry axis, and the first magnetic shield body 2A and the second magnetic shield body 2B form a magnetic shield space S around the rotational symmetry axes inside while arranging the rotational symmetry axes oppositely with the rotational symmetry axes coincident. Compensation coils 10a, 10b made of a conductor wound around along peripheral surfaces of outer peripheral wall members are installed on the outer peripheral wall members of the first magnetic shield body 2A and the second magnetic shield body 2B to cause currents to flow, and magnetic fluxes in the rotational symmetry axis direction of the first magnetic shield body 2A and the second magnetic shield body 2B are deflected by magnetic fields generated in the compensation coils 10a, 10b to prevent the magnetic fluxes from flowing into the shield space S.
