PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus the function of which can be used more efficiently by a plurality of users.SOLUTION: A plurality of functions of an image formation apparatus are associated, respectively, with a plurality of regions near the image formation apparatus. The image formation apparatus comprises: a plurality of detection units provided corresponding to the plurality of regions, respectively, and detecting the user; a first determination unit for determining in which of the plurality of regions the user exists; a second determination unit for determining the priority of using the image formation apparatus between a first user determined to exist in the first region and a second user determined to exist in the second region; and an execution determination unit for determining whether or not the image formation apparatus can perform a second function associated with a region where a low priority user exists, on the basis of a first function associated with a region where a high priority user exists.
