Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a speed control gain without having an influence on processing quality.SOLUTION: A numerical control device 15a comprises an estimation acceptance/rejection determination section 13a that determines whether or not a motor 6 is under processing of a work-piece while determining whether or not the motor 6 operates at a constant speed, determines moments of inertia of the motor 6 and a load 16 driven by the motor 6 to be estimated when the motor 6 operates at the constant speed and is not under the processing and determines the moments of inertia not to be estimated when the motor 6 does not operate at the constant speed or is under the processing. The numerical control device 15a adds an additional torque current command to a torque current command and estimates the moments of inertia in a period when the estimation acceptance/rejection determination section 13a determines the moments of inertia to be estimated, calculates a speed control gain on the basis of estimated values of the moments of inertia and updates a speed control gain of a speed control section 4 by the speed control gain calculated.
