Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration detector in which an increase in its size is suppressed.SOLUTION: A concentration detector includes: an infrared light source which emits inspection light containing infrared rays; a housing formed by a material that transmits infrared rays contained in the inspection light, and having an object to be detected arranged inside; and a calculation unit which detects the inspection light that has transmitted the housing and the object to be detected inside the housing, and calculates a concentration of the object to be detected on the basis of the detected inspection light and an optical path length that is the length of the inspection light having transmitted the object to be inspected. The housing includes an incidence wall part 33 where the inspection light emitted from the infrared light source enters, and an outgoing wall part 36 where the inspection light that has transmitted the object to be inspected in the housing is emitted. A distance between the incidence wall part and the outgoing wall part corresponds to the optical path length, and the concentration detector has a control unit which controls the optical path length by deforming a part of the housing.
