Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a production method for sintered ore that can effectively utilize steel slag as a part of a sintering material without a reduction in production rate of the sintered ore.SOLUTION: In a method for producing sintered ore by mixing a granulation material mainly constituted of iron ore, CaO-based and SiO-based auxiliary materials, return ore and solid fuel, adding water thereto, granulating the granulation material so as to form granulated particles, charging a pallet with the granulated particles as a sintering material, forming a sintering material charge layer, subsequently igniting an upper layer of the sintering material charge layer, sucking air through a wind box arranged below the pallet and causing the solid fuel in the sintering material to be subjected to combustion, when using steel slag as a part of the granulation material, the production method for the sintered ore includes the steps of: dividing the granulation material into the steel slag and other material other than the steel slag and individually granulating the steel slag and the other material; setting each particle size of the granulated particles deriving from the steel slag to 6.7 mm or more and less than 16 mm; and uniformly dispersing the granulated particles deriving therefrom into the granulated particles deriving from the other material other than the steel slag and charging the pallet of a sintering machine therewith. |
