Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability on a job site by applying a fire resistive covering structure with the proper workability to a steel column without increasing wall thickness, even when an exterior wall material and the steel column are close to each other.SOLUTION: A fire-resistive covering unit 1 includes first and second cover plates 11 and 12 which cover a periphery of a steel column 6, and a plurality of coupling plates 13 which couple the first and second cover plates 11 and 12 together. The first and second cover plates 11 and 12 are configured as a composite body in which a metallic plate 21 with fire resistive performance and an inner surface-side thermally-expandable fire-resistive material 22 are combined together. The coupling plate 13 is made of a bendable strip plate. One end of the coupling plate 13 is turnably attached to an outer surface of the first cover plate 11. The coupling plate 13 is turned along the outer surface of the first cover plate 11 and laid between the first and second cover plates 11 and 12, and the other end thereof is fixed to the second cover plate 12.
