Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evacuation tower which can be installed at low cost by effectively utilizing a structure of the evacuation tower while paying attention to steel-pipe columns of the evacuation tower, and comprises a novel article storage structure.SOLUTION: An evacuation tower comprises a steel-frame skeleton constructed of steel-pipe columns 7 and beams and comprises an evacuation stage 2 for evacuees on a top floor. The steel-pipe column 7 of the evacuation tower includes an opening part 7b for storing or taking out articles into or from an internal space of the steel-pipe column 7 used as an article storage space and an opening/closing member 16 for opening/closing the opening part. Ordinarily, a column head is covered to prevent the internal space of the steel-pipe column from being flooded by rainfall. Since the inside of the steel-pipe column is utilized as the article storage space, the steel-pipe column 7 of the evacuation tower constructed high is long, and a closed space within that long steel-pipe column can be effectively utilized, a number of articles can be stored. Since it is not necessary to newly construct a closed space for storing articles, cost for installing a storage section can be reduced extremely. |
