Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reduction efficiency in denitration catalyst, to miniaturize a NOx sensor, and to precisely detect NOx in the NOx sensor.SOLUTION: A denitration apparatus 200 comprises: denitration catalyst 220 for enhancing reduction of nitrogen oxide included in exhaust gas sent from an engine 112; a reducing agent introduction unit 218 for introducing reducing agent to an upstream side of the denitration catalyst; an ozone introduction unit 216 for generating ozone and introducing the ozone to the upstream side of the denitration catalyst for improving reduction efficiency of the nitrogen oxide in the denitration catalyst; and a NOx sensor 230 extracting some of the exhaust gas sent from the engine and measuring the concentration of the nitrogen oxide included in the exhaust gas by using the ozone generated by the ozone introduction unit.
