Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phyllosilicate mineral-polymer electrolyte composite film which can form a polymer electrolyte membrane that realizes a fuel cell superior in long-term stability and battery characteristics; a method for producing the phyllosilicate mineral-polymer electrolyte composite film; a membrane-electrode assembly having the phyllosilicate mineral-polymer electrolyte composite film; and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell superior in long-term stability.SOLUTION: The phyllosilicate mineral-polymer electrolyte composite film has a layer that is formed on at least one face of a polyelectrolyte layer containing a polymer electrolyte (A), and contains a phyllosilicate mineral (B) and a polymer electrolyte (C) different from the polymer electrolyte (A). The membrane-electrode assembly having the phyllosilicate mineral-polymer electrolyte composite film, and the polymer electrolyte fuel cell provided with the membrane-electrode assembly are also disclosed. |
