Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with members hardly accumulating an odor and bacteria.SOLUTION: A coating layer 100a is formed on a top face of a food shelf 36 of a refrigerator, and a coating layer 100b is formed also on a bottom face of the food shelf 36. Each of the coating layers 100a, 100b is formed as a thin film from a material having Si. Since molecules of external odor components and bacteria are blocked by the coating layers 100a, 100b, they cannot intrude into the food shelf 36 formed of a resin material. Since the coating layers 100a, 100b have hydrophilic properties, they can be easily cleaned.
