PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof apparatus capable of smoothly and resiliently deforming a weather strip according to upward protruding motion of an interlocking member, by interlocking with upward motion of a moving panel.SOLUTION: A side weather strip 21 includes a first seal part 26 and a second seal part 27 which are connected to a part to be retained 24 and an upper end of the part to be retained 24. A thickness of the first seal part 26 gradually decreases from a first end 26a on the upper end side of the part to be retained 24 toward a first turned back part 26c, and gradually increases from the first turned back part 26c toward a second end 26d on a lower end side of the part to be retained 24. A thickness of the second end 26d is set smaller than a thickness of the first end 26a, and a distance L12 in a vehicle height direction from a lower end of the first seal part 26 to the first turned back part 26c is set greater than a distance L11 in the vehicle height direction from an upper end of the first seal part 26.
