Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate cylinder to which a sleeve printing plate can be detachably attached, capable of reducing weight, enhancing heat radiation, and suppressing the generation of stain.SOLUTION: A printing plate cylinder has a shaft part 3, a cylindrical part 5 arranged coaxially with the shaft part 3 and arranged with a distance between the same and an outer peripheral surface 3a of the shaft part 3, and a plurality of ribs 7 coupling the shaft part 3 and the cylindrical part 5 and forming a gap area S between the shaft part 3 and the cylindrical part 5, the gap area S are opened outward from both the end parts of the cylindrical part 5 in an axial direction, an air blowing out hole opening to the outer peripheral surface of the same is formed in the cylindrical part 5, an air supplying channel 35 is formed in at least one of the ribs 7, the first end part of the air supplying channel 35 opens to the end surface the ribs 7, the second end part of the air supplying channel 35 is constituted so as to connecting to the air blowing out hole 37, an air flowing part 33 extending in a peripheral direction is formed in the cylindrical part 5, the air supplying channel 35 and the air blowing out hole 37 are communicated via the air flowing part 33.
