In a first ram retraction protocol (184a), the first ram may be retracted partially (232), and then a second ram is fully retracted (234), and then the retraction of the first ram is completed (238). In a second ram retraction protocol (184b), the first ram may be retracted partially (252), and then the second ram is partially retracted (254), and then, occasionally, each of the first and second rams may be fully retracted (260, 262). In a third ram retraction protocol (184c), the first and second rams are partially retracted simultaneously (272), and then, occasionally, each of the first and second rams is fully retracted.
