Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel assembly for a pressurized-water reactor in which output of an outer peripheral part can be suppressed sufficiently, while improving economical efficiency, without changing a uranium concentration degree between a central part and an outer peripheral part of a fuel assembly.SOLUTION: In a fuel assembly for a pressurized-water reactor composed of a plurality of fuel rods having a predetermined uranium concentration, erbia or boron is added only to fuel rods disposed in an outer peripheral part of the fuel assembly. In the fuel assembly for the pressurized-water reactor composed of the plurality of fuel rods having the predetermined uranium concentration, the fuel rods are disposed in such a manner that the quantity of erbia or boron to be added is reduced from the outer peripheral part toward a central part of the fuel assembly. |
