Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conditioner that ensures a maintenance worker higher safety and simpler maintenance work.SOLUTION: A busbar discharge circuit 9 is disposed in parallel with a busbar capacitor 8, and charging section exposure detection means 12 is disposed to detect opening of a charging section cover 3 in a casing 1 of a power conditioner 5. When a detection signal is input from the charging section exposure detection means 12, a control section 13 controls each of a voltage regulation circuit 7 and an inverter section 10 to an operation stop, controls each of a DC switch 6 and an electromagnetic switch 11 to an off state, and controls the busbar discharge circuit 9 to discharge the busbar capacitor 8 of all the stored charge.
