PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration display unit that is enabled to return to a non-display state after deterioration display by a simple structure and means, and easy to repetitively use.SOLUTION: There is provided a deterioration display unit which is connected to a ground line of a lightning arrestor installed in power transmission line facilities, and detects a leakage current flowing through the ground line owing to deterioration of the lightning arrestor to display the deterioration of the lightning arrestor. The display unit includes a display section 18 which is housed in a housing 11 to transition between a display state and a non-display state with respect to deterioration of a lighting arrestor, and a self-holding type solenoid 20 which is housed in the housing 11, and places the display section 18 in the non-display state by attracting a plunger 19 fitted to the display section 18 with magnetic force and in the display state by releasing the plunger 19 from being attracted by applying magnetic force canceling the attracting magnetic force with a leakage current. The display section 18 is transitioned from the display state to the non-display state with magnetic repulsive force by putting a tool having a magnet having the same polarity with a magnet 34 provided to the display section 18 close to the display section 18 in the display state from outside the housing 11.
