Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping material which exhibits a further effective vibration damping effect than those of conventional technologies.SOLUTION: In a composite vibration damping material 1, an acicular high-permittivity dielectric 3 comprising titanium dioxide and a piezoelectric fiber 4 comprising an organic material are mixed in a polymer material 2 forming a matrix. Preferably, a flat filler 5 comprising an inorganic material and a conductive particles 6 are also mixed. A cellulose fiber is suitably used as the piezoelectric fiber 4. |
