Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply braking to a drive shaft when necessary while ensuring smooth rotation of the drive shaft without decreasing motor efficiency.SOLUTION: A bent axis-type axial piston motor allows relative rotation of a separate plate 91 and a friction plate 90 by removing pressure by a braking piston 92 when rotating a drive shaft 20 through a cylinder block 30 by stroke moving a piston rod 40 while applying braking force to the drive shaft 20 by limiting the relative rotation of the separate plate 91 and the friction plate 90 when the separate plate 91 and the friction plate 90 are pressed against a braking receiving plate 93 through the braking piston 92. A regulation member 95 which regulates the movement of the braking receiving plate 93 against a casing 10 along the axis of the drive shaft 20 is interposed between the casing 10 and the braking receiving plate 93.
