Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to generate the cleavage required for analysis in mass spectrometry of sugar peptides having arginine residues.SOLUTION: A mass spectrometry of sugar peptides includes: a step in which a sugar peptide having a guanidino group is subjected to alteration of the guanidino group or removal of the guanidino group, and a sugar peptide that does not include the guanidino group is obtained; and a step in which the sugar peptide that does not include the guanidino group is subjected to mass spectrometry, and a sugar chain cleavage-derived fragment ion and a peptide chain cleavage-derived fragment ion are obtained. |
