Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface radiating type burner capable of heating a treating material more uniformly.SOLUTION: A furnace body element 8 forming a radiation wall surface 2 opposed to a processing material is formed with a first opening 3 for blowing airflow of combustion air C producing the Coanda effect, a second opening 4 for discharging exhaust gas E abutter combustion, and a plurality of third openings 5 disposed between the first opening and the second opening, and flowing a gas flow of fuel gas F. By dispersing and supplying a gas flow of fuel gas from the plurality of third openings to airflow of combustion air that is blown from the first opening and is directed toward the second opening along the radiation wall surface of the furnace body element, flat flame f for heating the radiation wall surface along the radiation wall surface is produced, and the treating material is heated by radiation heat from the radiation wall surface.
