Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of distortion, deflection, and kink on the image forming apparatus without being affected by a change in the centroid position due to a change in the configuration of the image forming apparatus, and distortion and irregularities on an installation surface of the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When the balance among three support parts of a bottom plate 30 is lost due to movement of the center of gravity of an image forming apparatus, a movable plate 42 having a weight 43 mounted thereon is moved in a direction opposite to a direction in which the center of gravity has moved with a rotation shaft 41c as the center of rotation, so as to return the center of gravity of the image forming apparatus to the original position to ensure the balance among the three support parts on the bottom plate 30.
