Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an inner ring in a wheel bearing device in which an inner ring material can be prevented from being expanded radially, and to provide a mounting method thereof and the wheel bearing device.SOLUTION: In a mounting structure of an inner ring 7, a wheel bearing device 1 supports a hub ring 6 in a rotatable manner to a vehicle body side via a rolling bearing including the inner ring 7 which rolls rolling elements 4, 5. In the wheel bearing device 1, a hub ring material is inserted into an inner ring material, a vehicle body side end portion of the hub ring material is caulked to a vehicle body side material end face of the inner ring material, and thereby forming a caulking part 62b, and thereby, the inner ring 7 is mounted to the hub ring 6. The inner ring 7 (a second inner ring member 71) includes an annular notch 71c which is opened on its inner circumferential surface and a vehicle body side inner ring end face 71b. Between an axial end face 710c of the notch 71c and an axial end face 620b of the caulking part 62b, a buffer ring 15 is interposed which receives a caulking force from the hub ring 6.
