Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level conversion circuit that implements a low power consumption by eliminating a through current.SOLUTION: A first pair of transistors 11a, 11b are of a first conductivity type, and have respective first main electrodes connected to a ground and respective control electrodes fed with first and second low voltage signals either or both of which are at an L level. Second and third pairs of transistors 12, 13 are of a second conductivity type. The second pair of transistors have respective second main electrodes connected to corresponding second main electrodes of the first pair of transistors 11a, 11b, respective control electrodes connected to the second main electrodes of the pair of transistors 12, 13 and respective first main electrodes connected to a power supply. The third pair of transistors 13 have respective second main electrodes connected to the corresponding control electrodes of the second pair of transistors 12a, 12b, respective first main electrodes connected to the power supply VH, and respective control electrodes fed with a pre-charge signal. High voltage signals are output from junctions of the second main electrodes of the first and second pairs of transistors 11, 12.
