Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system capable of changing a user interface according to the language of a client device to be connected.SOLUTION: A memory system comprises: a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device 18; a wireless LAN function unit 19a; and a control unit 11a. In response to a first command that requests transmission of an HTML file that is transmitted from the client device being connected via the wireless LAN function unit 19a, the control unit 11a transmits an HTML file, which includes a script for causing a second command with an option of a CGI program specified to be transmitted from the client device, to the client device. When receiving the second command transmitted from the client device, the control unit recognizes language information of the client device on the basis of the specified option of the CGI program.
