Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture an image with which a circular object to be conveyed fast can be identified even when the circular object is scanned and imaged.SOLUTION: A circular object image is formed from line images obtained by sequentially scanning a circular object in a direction vertical to a conveying direction. In the case where the circular object image is distorted in the conveying direction, the distortion is corrected and in the case where the circular object image includes a lateral displacement in the direction vertical to the conveying direction, the lateral displacement is corrected. Regarding each of line images forming the circular object image, images having high correlation with a line image which is scanned just before, among three images of that line image and images obtained by rotating that line image in both directions in the order of scanning the circular object are selected as line images forming the circular object image, thereby correcting a rotational displacement included in the circular object image. |
