Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing a reduction in position accuracy of a support member for supporting a functional member that is used for forming an image.SOLUTION: At least parts (all in the present configuration) of attachment ranges 150C and 152C are arranged in a reinforced range 162 where a front plate 104 and a rear plate 106 are reinforced by an L-shape part 140 when viewed from a device depth direction. Accordingly, a reduction in position accuracy of a support member 146 that supports an image forming unit 70 caused by falling of the front plate 104 and the rear plate 106 is suppressed.
