Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromium-based stainless reinforcement bar which has superior corrosion resistance in a composite degradation environment of neutralization and chloride attack in a concrete structure and to provide a manufacturing method for the chromium-based stainless reinforcement bar.SOLUTION: A Chromium-containing deformed bar with superior corrosion resistance contains, by mass: no less than 0.001% and no more than 0.15% of C; no less than 0.1% and no more than 2.0% of Si; no less than 0.1% and no more than 2.0% of Mn; no more than 0.04% of P; no more than 0.03% of S; no less than 0.001% and no more than 0.1% of N; no less than 4% and less than 10.5% of Cr; and no less than 0.001% and no more than 1.0% of Sn. The deformed bar has a rib 31 extended with an angle of 45 to 85 degrees with respect to a central axis direction and sections where a distance d1 of the rib 32 arranged next to each other in the direction of the central axis is no less than 0.5 and no more than 2.0 times larger than a nominal diameter. A convex shape of the rib is configured to have a difference of no less than 50 μm between a maximum height in the direction orthogonal to the extended direction of the rib and a height at a position 1000 μm away from the position of the maximum height in the direction orthogonal to the central axis direction.
