Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of operation of a currency processing device in the currency processing device performing at least a process of storing currency in a storage section.SOLUTION: In a currency processing device (a bill deposit/withdrawal device 1), each storage section (a storage cassette 31) is set in any one of a deposit storage section for performing only storage of the currency, and a recycle storage section for withdrawing the stored currency as well as storing the currency. Each storage part set in the deposit storage section or the recycle storage section is configured to set a denomination and fatigue of the currency stored therein.
