Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave sensor capable of calculating a propagation time of an ultrasonic wave with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A correction value operation section 36 operates an error t of a propagation time of an ultrasonic wave propagating between a transmission element 1 and a reception element 2 on the basis of a distance between them. A cross-correlation section 33 operates a propagation time t of an acoustic wave propagated from the transmission element 1 to the reception element 2 by correlating the transmission element with the reception element. A correction section 37 corrects the propagation time t. Therefore, the propagation time of the acoustic wave is calculated with higher accuracy.
