Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air intake quantity control device in which assembly workability of a driving motor is improved, driving motor assembly accuracy can be improved and product reliability can be improved.SOLUTION: In an air intake quantity control device for an internal combustion engine, a flange part 22 provided in an end portion of a driving motor 5 can be assembled into a cylindrical hole part 24. A throttle body 2 includes at least one positioning protrusion (or recess) 23 formed on an inner wall of the cylindrical hole part, and the driving motor includes at least one positioning recess (or protrusion) 25 formed at a position corresponding to the positioning protrusion (or recess) of the flange part. The driving motor is assembled into the cylindrical hole part 24 in such a manner that an inter-shaft distance 33 between a motor shaft 18 and a throttle shaft 9 becomes a prescribed value in the state where the positioning recess (or protrusion) 25 is abutted on the positioning protrusion (or recess) 23.
