Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure capable of reliably transmitting a collision load to a front side frame during narrow offset collision, while suitably securing a space between the front side frame and a member.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front part structure includes a front side frame 1, a lower member 3 arranged outside of the front side frame 1 in a vehicle cross direction, and a gusset 2 arranged between the front side frame 1 and the lower member 3. The front side frame 1 has a first break point P1 which is bent by receiving a collision load, to absorb the collision load, when a vehicle V collides. The inside of the gusset 2 in the vehicle cross direction is joined to the outside of the front side frame 1 in the vehicle cross direction, and extends from the front end of the front side frame 1 to the first break point P1. On the outside of the gusset 2 in the vehicle cross direction, a tapered part 22 is formed which is inclined to be located to the side of the front side frame 1 as extending from the front end of the gusset 2 to the rear side.
