Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system that can achieve comfortable lighting state with an excellent operability.SOLUTION: A remote controller transmits separately a timer-setting control signal stored in a memory and a control signal based on user instructions to a lighting device. The lighting device, when the control signal from the remote controller is timer setting (NO in S322) and is a control signal received within a predetermined time from control of the same lighting state based on the timer setting previously stored in the lighting device itself (YES in S326), does not perform a control following the control signal from the remote controller (S328).
