Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire in which energy saving can be achieved while reducing flicker of lighting.SOLUTION: A luminaire 1 includes an illumination unit 30, an illuminance sensor 28 for detecting the illuminance of an irradiated surface that is irradiated with light from the illumination unit 30, a memory 29 for storing a target illuminance of the irradiated surface, and a CPU 22 for comparing the target illuminance and the illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor 28 and performing automatic output control including the dimming control and unlighting control of light output in the illumination unit 30. The CPU 22 controls the light output in the illumination unit 30 so as to be equal to or larger than a preset lower limit in a predetermined time zone during automatic output control, and unlights the illumination unit according to the illuminance detected by means of the illuminance sensor in a time zone different from the predetermined time zone.
