PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint resistance transparent substrate for a touch panel, which has superior finger lubricity, and is small in a haze.SOLUTION: A transparent substrate that has a film that has a rugged structure that contains the inorganic oxide fine particle in a base material surface in the film obtained by the organometallic hydrolysis and the polycondensation. The fingerprint resistance transparent substrate for a touch panel has further, a stain-proof barrier formed with a fluorine-containing silane compound on a surface of the film, and has superior finger lubricity, wherein an arithmetic average roughness Ra in the surface of the stain-proof barrier is 5-100 nm, and the haze of the base material is 0.01-10%.
