Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate management of a production library, and the edition work of data using the production library.SOLUTION: A library database 14 holds library data of components to be mounted on a printed circuit board. A library registration unit 23 generates management information of the library data, and registers the management information in the library database 14 along with the library data. The library data is defined by combination of the component shape and the land shape of a pattern. The library registration unit 23 imparts different management information to the library data having different land shape of a pattern, even if the component shape is identical.
