Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet roller capable of suppressing a variation in magnetic flux density in a longitudinal direction of the magnet roller while ensuring rigidity, a developer carrier having the magnet roller, a developing device having the developer carrier, a process cartridge having the developing device, and an image forming apparatus having the process cartridge.SOLUTION: A magnet roller 30 includes one support part 33 having a protrusion part 331 arranged protruding to the outside of a main body part 31 and an embedded part 332 arranged embedded to the inside which are connected to each other and integrally provided to the one support part 33. The embedded part 332 is provided with a small cross section area part 335 that is formed to have a cross section area orthogonal to the shaft direction smaller than a cross section area of a base end part 331b closer to the embedded part 332 in the protrusion part 331.
