Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the corrosion of iron bars in concrete, which can stably generate a large electric current by keeping anodes always in an activated state to thereby overcome the problem that the generated current in a corrosion prevention method using a conventional anode material is small, and especially can prevent re-degradation due to macrocell corrosion arising from patch repair.SOLUTION: In a method for preventing the corrosion of iron bars in concrete comprising embedding anode materials A in a concrete opening 11 where iron bars are exposed, making electrical connection between each anode material A and an iron bar 12, and filling the opening with a patch repair material, the anode material A used is an anode material prepared by covering the surface of an arbitrarily shaped aluminum alloy or zinc alloy 1 with a gel layer 4 containing a chloride, attaching a cloth material 5 containing a chloride on the gel layer 4, and coating its surface with a cementitious material 6. |
