Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having a simple structure, and capable of obtaining a certain and stable locking state.SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 includes: an insulation housing 12 on which an insertion groove 11 for inserting and connecting a side edge portion 51 of a signal transmission medium 50 is opened; and two locking members 30L and 30R having locking portions for detachably locking the signal transmission medium 50 inserted in the insertion groove 11. The locking members 30L and 30R have releasing mechanisms which separate the locking portions 31 from the signal transmission medium 50 when releasing portions 32 provided on the locking members 30L and 30R are pressed to elastically deform the locking members 30L and 30R. The releasing portions 32 of the two locking members 30L and 30R are protrusively disposed near end portions 11a of the insertion groove 11 on a back surface 12c of the insulation housing 12 while turning a pressing operation direction X in a direction intersecting an insertion surface 50f of the signal transmission medium 50 to the insertion groove 11. |
