PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene polymer composition, maintaining a good adhesivity, and also hardly cause delamination even in using the same as an adhesive.SOLUTION: A chloroprene polymer composition is obtained by performing the polymerization reaction of 100 pts.mass of a chloroprene monomer or 100 pts.mass of the total of a chloroprene monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with the chloroprene monomer in the presence of 0.5 to 7.0 pts.mass of a rosin acid as an emulsifying agent and 0.02 to 1.0 pt.mass of a polyfunctional thiol compound until the polymerization rate becomes ≥60%. The polyfunctional thiol compound is desirably at least one kind of alkyl dithiol compound selected from 1,4 butane dithiol, 1,5 pentane dithiol, 1,6 hexane dithiol, 1,7 heptane dithiol, 1,8 octane dithiol, 1,9 nonane dithiol, 1,10 decane dithiol, 1,11 undecane dithiol, 1,12 dodecane dithiol and 1,13 tridecane dithiol.
